Shabaab ruled southern Somalia sans parts of Mogadishu are the most peaceful part of Somalia currently. I would bet couple blocks of Hargeisa see more crime than the whole of south Somalia. Even petty crime has been eliminated.

I would bet couple blocks of Hargeisa see more crime than the whole of south Somalia. Even petty crime has been eliminated.

Southern Somalia is also more food efficient now while Somaliland completely relies on UN food handouts to stock their stores.

Just encouraging and advocating peace in Xamar a once beautiful city and here you are frist comparing infrastructure and picking a picture of hargeysa with no buildings on purpose now this. As things currently stand and look to continue in the coming years, we needn't worry about Hargesia over-taking Mogadishu. In the 21st century - mega-cities can be built in a generation. :idea:
