Baati, Dirac, Macawiis..

Do you wear them outside?

I haven't seen too many folks wearing the baati/macawiis outside the house, but I have often seen various of women walking around the mall wearing the dirac, you'd think it's the new fashion trend or something.

This one is for the ladies: do you prefer dirac misa guntiino, personally I love the latter one, but don't know how to wear it properly, whenever I try it waxaa igu dhaco wardrobe malfunction

I've never worn macawiis outside, except maybe to go to sleep. Women shouldn't wear dirac or baati outside either. The only time a woman should wear baati is during the first 4 weeks after delivery, then burn it and flush its ashes down the toilet.

Those things are hideous.

i don't know what baati is BUT I hate macawis and dirac equally. ............... I am very proud to say I have never worn macawis.
