80% of the Somali females I know *who have done higher education* have studied nursing.. I would say more than 60% have dropped out and took early years teaching instead.. WHYO?.. because it was difficult and quiet a few of these sisters annually do speeches at their local community preaching about this..

They drop out because it makes sense. University is no place for a xalimo!WestLdnShawty wrote:80% of the Somali females I know *who have done higher education* have studied nursing.. Lets not take my comment out of context. I am pretty sure my daughters will be educated, but then again, education doesnt necessarily mean doing a nursing degreeWestLdnShawty wrote:^Tell that to your future daughters InshaAllah![]()

Somali females drop out of nursing courses at university because doing health and social care is the fill the period between being plucked for marriage and finishing secondary school. Women with more serious ambition study more serious courses. Women with more potential usually do not deluded themselves with courses like nursing.
