i just overhead something on the SEnews about Somalis lacking vitamin D. what happen to all that vimto?

vimto is pure sugar and artificial color, at least the one bottle i saw. your body can produce vitamin d from the sun. ppl up north can get if from a variety of food sources.

This reminds me of of myth with islaamaha Somaaliyeed, in which they thought that Vimto is good source of iron etc therefore it is good for anemia and that Okra is good for the joints as it has this slimy stuff..

If someone just keeps his/her hand out of the window while driving his/her car for 20 minutes..That is enough source of Vit. D ...stay outside a little bit when it is sunny..how difficult is that?
