You know what Eritrea did, they came to Addis Ababa installed Meles and the TPLF.Signed there papers and dumbed Ethiopia on the Tigrays there is no way the TPLF was able to capture Ethiopia on its own, Somaliland should have had there papers signed off in Xamar but thats too late.You can only make progress towards recognition through Somalia.

I too believe we missed a golden opportunity when siad barre fell, we should have just backed caydiid as president and tried to restore peace and order and in return for our support he could have signed us off.
However I believe our future policy is to send a couple of more isaaqs to xamar and back them to lead somalia, if that succeeds we can just sign somalilands independence and split.
