I'm too ashamed to seek a cure.

It's just some kinds of mental illnesses the somali culture in its right environment is better equiped dealing with traditionally than any western physcian. But the cases where the person is actually crazy, that is another case.

Yeah illnesses that stem from depression is very treatable in our culture, and is usually a non-issue unlike here where a huge portion of the populations in western post-industrialized countries are dealing with a depression epidemic. Somali's are now being confronted with all sorts of post traumatic stress syndrome, depression etc and a lot of them are not being helped.

But those that are severely schizophrenic, delusional, and unable to function god save us from being one of them. It's hard to cure any of them.
