Appreciation thread for Ugandan troops---African heroes.

Post by Voltage »

I have said it before and I will say it again, Uganda and Burundi, more so Uganda, will go down in African history for its efforts in Somalia. While all other Africans are scared of the Somali bogeyman, Uganda's indho adeeg and forceful attempts to take on the anti-government forces in Somalia will live in history. Indho adakaa.  Walle Musaveni qoloda madoow maahan ee waa mid ka dashay Soomaalida.

If Uganda can't even defeat the LRA in its own backyard, what makes you think they will pacify Mogadishu?

Bush guerillas hiding in the forests of South Sudan and other places? :?

There are no bushes to hide in Somalia and if you have the will power to fight you will defeat Shabaab. Uganda only has 8K troops in Mogadishu and Al Shabaab which controls all the south loses territory to them instead of defeating them. Now Museveni wants to prepare 20K troops for Somalia and EU and US are seriously looking into the funding. Somalia oo dhan buu la wareegi Museveni.

The reason why Al-Shabaab is still standing in MOG is AMISOM's mandate. Once that mandate is changed, those brave Ugandan soldiers will have a field day. LRA has never be the same the last few years. They are confined in some bushes in the border with its northern neighbors.

Hopefully Jerry Rawlings can generate more attention to this silly conflict.

the ethiopians used to fight,,,these amisoms hardly leave their armored vehicles..thats why there is no winner in Mogadishu today unlike 2007-2008 where the xabashis were defeated literaly.

the mandate is to protect them, also fanacially.for their "bosses" its cheaper to pay their monthly salary, than for their dead bodies.

If the mandate is changed, they would need more weapons further complicating the situation. I don't think the UN will change that mandate.

What an absolutely malicious thread to dedicate to a group of "peacekeepers" whose main mode of deliverance to your people is to kill without mercy. "Peacekeepers" are known to molest, rape, and murder the civilian population in which they are assigned. The research is at your disposal if you think my statement is an exaggeration.

To equate that a group of people with guns are helpful is like equating a guy who has HIV knowingly infesting an innocent woman as being "abundantly fruitful".

I hate Mooryans anyone can attest to that. And in many cases the people of the south have done this to themselves, and surely this is the best that Karma has to offer. But there is a point where there must be a realization that the only people suffering are not those who are NOT the benefactors of the prosperity, and this will have a deeper and more lasting impact on all Somalis.
