At a later stage, the shameful renegade was re-baptized as Gabre Yhones Abate, and sold his soul to the evilness of the monstrous and inhuman Abyssinian racist state.
General Gabre Yhones Abate who commanded the Ethiopian army in Mogadishu is Somali by birth with Tigrean mother. His birth name was Jibriil Yonis Abaas and he is third cousin of Riyaale. He used to come frequently to Hargeisa and most people thought his trips were related to security. It was beyond that, he was mostly visiting his relatives in Hargeysa and Borame. That became clear after Ethiopian army vacated Somalia, he is still a frequent visitor to Hargeisa Presidential Palace.
Not only that but Riyale himself is Ethiopian citizen who contested a local government election in Shiniile province of Ethiopia. Whence he failed that election with Melz party, he moved to Borame and subsequently became Somaliland Vice President, chosen by Egal with the only credential of loyalty and yesmanship. It is obvious that this nation is led by a foreigner who flees to Ethiopia, whenever he faces a political, or social crisis, ready for asylum.
General Gabre, the butcher of Mogadishu came to Borame and Hargeisa to solve a tense relationship between the two states that followed de-listing 45 military officers trained in Ethiopia.
Despite his visit Ethiopia is very tense about security of Somaliland after 29 October suicide attack that destroyed their Commercial Attache's office. Just this week they officially closed Ethiopian Airlines office for good. Earlier they suspended its flights following that attack.
Gabre´s children lived in Borame throughout his mission in Mogadishu guarded by their clan, and as they speak good Somali, they were undistinguishable from the rest of Borame residents.
It is known that Mahamoud Sh Abdillahi, the governor of Awdal travels to Jigjiga every other week, carrying with him sensitive and security information to the Somali regional government of Ethiopia. The governor receives a number of Ethiopian citizens, including secret service personnel on daily basis in his office and residence. This governor is first cousin to the first Somali convicted to spying for Ethiopia in the seventies. He was publicly executed by shooting.
However, Somalilanders believe that General Gabre is in Hargeisa to assess and maintain security during Riyale's absence. There are many plain-clothed secret service Ethiopian personnel in major Somaliland cities.
