Cosmetic surgeon offers free Botox to unemployed in bizarre bid to get them back to work

A cosmetic surgeon is offering free Botox to the unemployed in a bizarre bid to get them back to work.
The Oswego Spa, in Lake Oswego, Portland, claims that looking older or stressed can 'affect a person's confidence when looking for a job'.
Staff are now offering free Botox jabs to the first 20 jobless men and women to sign up - alongside career counselling.
Lee Robinson, the spa's medical director, said that many clients had been affected by the downturn in the economy.
'If we can help the unemployed increase their self-assurance, we can help families in our community get back to work.'
The free procedures will take place on October 15 between 9am and 2pm.
An advert on The Oswego Spa website warns that research shows 'it takes less than 30 seconds to form a lasting "first impression"'.
'Because first impressions are especially important to the unemployed, Oswego Spa is offering free Botox injections and an hour-long career and image workshop,' the ad continues.
Candidates are told to dress for a job interview, to bring a resume and also proof of unemployment.
