Garowe from the Sky - Photo

Post by Monk-of-Mogadishu »

The square at the bottom left of the screen is Camp 54, the largest military base in Puntland. The other White square on the middle right is the soccer stadium. The photo is from 2008, much more updated than Google Earth which still shows an image from 2003.

He thinks Qabridahare is special.

We hear every day on the news, "Tigray soldiers commit crimes in the Ogaden desert." These cagdheers wanna make their shit hole look like jannah, every Somali city other than the ones in the south look like a desert town.

I think Borama is more green than most cities in the South. Jijiga is pretty green too.

Garowe is a hell hole. I mean honestly, it is smack middle of the desert. I have Isa Mahmud relatives and they don't talk kindly about the place. Keep building those hotels as people run towards Eyl for real economic progress

My sub-clan isn't from Garowe, we're from Eyl - and if there were good things to say about Eyl I would be the first to boast.

Garowe is the future. 8-)

The guy is the biggest hater, his location is 'In 1977 with the Somali National Army capturing Jijiga and moving towards Dire Dawa' yet he disses the one who was leading the army with the worst insults

People change, and AY turned his back on Somalia running to Ethiopia twice.

That being said, I support Puntland and its endeavours and hope they reclaim Las Anod
