No it's not true. The discrimination against the 'midgaan' people in Somaliland is a problem but not to that extent.

Are you speaking based on knowledge? Cause I would dismiss this story as false however a friend just informed of this. Is there anyone in Somaliland that can verify this?

Is your friend faqash?
Secondly before you ask these retarded question you need to ask yourself: How can one differentiate who is midgaan and who isn't? Initially Students are given entrance exam to determine what level they are able to start in school and that exam usually consists of various subjects and that does not include qabiil as one of them. Since Qabiil affiliation isn't asked to determine eligibility then I dont see how else student can be turn down to enroll in school in Somaliland. Just because your faqash friend misinformed you does not mean you should come in here and ask people pointless questions.

Somalistan, my friend is MJ not sure if he's faqash. I'm sorry if my question offends you...I was merely verifying this far fetched story. Crazier things have happened on earth. Thanks for your feed back.

They won’t answer honestly. They will just divert away from the topic at hand. They constantly talk about democracy and how they passed the tribal mentality. But in facts, they are more tribal than ever and still hold onto those fairytale beliefs about Midgaan.
