Her last interview there, she stated that Caraale the singer was married to Faaduma Suldaan Maxamed (ARAB suldaan) which means the singer Ikraan Caraale is the decent of such noble family.

The Emp and Tima Case are huge fan of her.

You need to check it out man. Her interview is very informative. Listening to her want me to go back home and cruise around all of these little towns around the border. .I’ve never seen beyond the airport…how sad.

BTW, Suldaan maxamed is the only REAL suldan isaaq had. Waxaan kale iska maalayacni bay ahaayeen faqashtii ku dhex milmay. He was real Mujaahid.

BTW, I don't know much about Sahra Halgan besides her songs during the struggle, also I too would like to travel beyond the airport and see places like Gadhyogol, Dhaboolaq, Salaxley, Balligubadle etc

If you getta chance read ‘THE MOURNING TREE” aka WEERE by Mohamed Barruud. It details how UFO organization started which ultimately gave birth to SNM. It also gives you great mental illustration of Labaatan jirow prison where he and many other young men from Somaliland were held.
There is also whole transcript of the trail in Somali (original version that was given to the prisoners) and English of it.

The Abdilahi Askar (AUN) interview was videotaped. I watched most of it @ Hargeisa Cable TV 2 yrs ago. It was great .
