Why? I thought you're fan of what she represents? Somaliland struggle!

Her last interview there, she stated that Caraale the singer was married to Faaduma Suldaan Maxamed (ARAB suldaan) which means the singer Ikraan Caraale is the decent of such noble family.

The Emp and Tima Case are huge fan of her.

You need to check it out man. Her interview is very informative. Listening to her want me to go back home and cruise around all of these little towns around the border. .I’ve never seen beyond the airport…how sad.

BTW, Suldaan maxamed is the only REAL suldan isaaq had. Waxaan kale iska maalayacni bay ahaayeen faqashtii ku dhex milmay. He was real Mujaahid.

His grand-daughter singing for Somaliland is just fitting!

Wallahi that's the truth, kuwan kale maxay halgankii ku soo kordhiyeen ama maanta wadanka wax u qabteen.

Ilaah ha unaxariiste mujaahidka: Suldaan Maxamed

Check out Hadhwanaanews.

This will be the time to get to know her. To me, she is walking history.

If you wanna explore Hawd, do it in the raining season. I heard people look very depressed in Jilaal time.
It’s in my checklist for my next visit hadii ILAHAY yidhaa.

Suldaan Mahomamed ILAHAY naxariisto jano haka waraabiyo. He was a man among men!

i've listened to other parts of her interview.. .........more to come, and i'm very much looking forward to Muj.Abdilahi Askar(aun) interview.

In my humble opinion 1980's is the greatest decade of reer Sheikh Isaxaaq, the challenges we faced were huge, but we stood up to Diinlawayashii and we came out victorious........ Maalintay qadhaadhay ayaa laga gartaa dadka nasabka ah iyo dadka nijaasta diciifka ah.

You’re right 80s was the decade that defined us.
If you getta chance read ‘THE MOURNING TREE” aka WEERE by Mohamed Barruud. It details how UFO organization started which ultimately gave birth to SNM. It also gives you great mental illustration of Labaatan jirow prison where he and many other young men from Somaliland were held.
There is also whole transcript of the trail in Somali (original version that was given to the prisoners) and English of it.

The Abdilahi Askar (AUN) interview was videotaped. I watched most of it @ Hargeisa Cable TV 2 yrs ago. It was great  .
