H.E. Jaale Barre's speech to the Somali judges in 1969.

Post by Voltage »

Couple months after the Coup, H.E The President of the Republic and Chairman of the Supreme Revolutionary Council, Major General Jaalle Pres. Mohammed Siad Barre Abdille gave this speech to the Somali judges:

Remarkable speech that instilled in the judges their independent impartiality as keepers of the order, something they had relinquished during the corrupt '60s.

He's dead and has been for 15 years if I am not mistaken, wuxu yahay iyo wuxu ahaaba waa la wada ogyahay.
Thanks for making my day, corrupt 60's, 70's and 80's were so not corrupt; I guess it depends on which end you were on back then.
iska bashaal, you creating these threads will only create more people insulting a dead man; actually I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Warya Voltage,

My director's side of me is itching to make a a movie based on a real life depiction of Jaale Maxamad Siyaad Bare (AUN) which is well over do and he is deserving of this. It' be great to show the rise from a mere soldier to the President of Somalia. How many people would I have to interview to create an accurate description of the legend? Who can act as the great man himself? I guarantee this movie woudl a huge hit among Somalis imagine reliving his life again and again through a spectuacular cinematic experience, I hope hollywood helps finance this wallahi.

Samatr, this is part of a historical remembrance series leading up to the magnificent day of October 21, which is couple days away. Also, since you were reer Miyi and your relatives as you once admitted, such topics about Somalia's political past cannot be argued with considering all you will regurgitate is the ignorance the rebels fed you.

Grandpa-

We can definitely do it and educate our still largely ignorant and illiterate masses.

And look how his administration ended up
Extra judicial killings,Mobile military courts that sentece civilians to death on the spot without any appeals process.Executing the Ulema of the nation for telling the truth etc etc

Don't be fooled I know Xamar as well as I know the dusty tuulo you call mii, and you don't know my relatives either if you did you would not have jotted down such silly comments towards me.

I plan to do a bit reeducating of the masses myself, it has to do with international law and human rights breaches, don't have a heart attack I'm not coming after your relatives.

Somalia deserved the corrupt pre revolution leadership and the blood sucking walords that came out in '91 but definitely not the patriotic revolutionary peoples' government.

Like Voltage requested please keep qabiil and all other filth out of this thread. Either remember the glory days of Somalia or kindly take your drivel elsewhere. :som:

Good job Dr Yalaxoow, in kastoo in badan hadalkaada ka muuqdo reer baadiye caano keene (for example sticking to your traitor sub-clan man Gabayre and his supposed and mythical fantasy would be rise over the commander of the armed forces, leader of the revolution, encapsulater of Somali control for over 21 years, and the man speaking like the sure head of state two months after the coup) taas waa laga cafin as well as "Siyaad bilawgi xaqiiq ayuu u muuqday. Siyaad beeshisa taariikhdeeda ayuu eegayay laga bilaabo Ahmed Gurey oo beeshiisha kaalin mug wayn ka lahayd laga bilaabo tariikhda qoran kolkaas iyo waliba gumaystahii. Siyaad wuu garowsanaa ummad aan qori karin, akhrin karin, xataa aan qoraal lahayn inaysan diyaar u lahayn dimuqaraadiyad ama iskaa isku maamul wuuna gaarsiin laha horumar ka dheer inta uu gaarsiiyey hadaanan isticmaarku faro gelin lahayn.
