Gunners have now faced both Chelsea and City away after 9 games and we sit 2nd, 5 points adrift. Spurs and United will be a walkover inshallah considering who they have in their respective squads. We've also faced our bogey teams of Blackburn, Bolton and Sunderland with 7 points out of 9. No other worries left apart from a visit from the blues after Christmas. That will be a much better contest barring no injuries to the skipper and Vermealen, Walcott and Persie back to full fitness. Good times? I'll say.
Tevez: £25m Adebayor: £25m Ballotelli: £24m Milner: £26m... unlimited resource, the future is blue the future is my beloved city.1_londoner wrote:Being humbled at home by Arsenal: Priceless![]()

you seem to have short memory loveLeila25 wrote:Money sometimes cannot buy success, Man City cannot be as consistent as Man U and Chelsea. I doubt they will get there.
the same thing happened to chelsea in the early years. in the first few years they have spent a vast amount of money on worthless players, such as veron, crespo, adrian muatu and co. it takes at least three years to built a championship winning team and have no doubt that man city will reach the promise land in the next three years.Leila25 wrote:Money is central to football, but i think Man City success will take a while, the players they have bought do not justify the spending, Yaya toure and Ballotelli are overapaid. They remind of Real Madrid when threy bought Figo and Zidane and did not reap the rewards.
