Khadiijah the girl on the right side was former friend and very shy girl. Everyday early in the morning whether it is dry or muddy in Nairobi, Khadija and I used to leave for Dugsi quran around the same time everyday except fridays. Khadija used to wear white and blue hijaab mostly when she comes to school.
Khadijah was neighbor of ours for almost 4 straight years. She knew the quran from the heart, as teen I remembered after salaatul asr, she used to come to my house to get help some science or math problem. I used to help her on those ones but when it comes to quran she was xaafidul quran and likes to read the quran all the time.
What happened to Khadijah?
Now she is Hot rock star, She moves her body every side you can imagine, plus what makes me so shocked she broke every culture somali woman would have considered a priority. Khadijah she is no longer xaafidul quran, She is no longer likes somalis, plus she insults somali women everyday because she thinks everything she does they do in hiding which can be true. whether you hide or bring public sin is a sin. I never see any good it has if you bring public or keep it in private.
Khadijah now is happy with her life as an american rock star. Now khadijah is happy something I am sure when we were young would have thought a pathetic and road to hell.
Thank God I would never give up, calling khadijah and reminding how she recite quran because I know human being are created weak and allah can only change the heart of human being any second he wants to do it.
