Goldogob has bad geography, its at the outer fringes of Mudug and Somalia and sits at the border. The Leelkase have also been experiencing inter-clan turmoil. Also, a lot of Leelkase would rather invest in Gaalkacyo than Goldogob and many have relocated. There's been a lot of factors that have made it difficult for Goldogob to develop so when I think of Leelkase I just think of Gaalkacyo since that's where they put their eggs; Goldogob has just become an outpost really.
