As I slowly wade through Gibbon's Eighteenth Century Decline and Fall, I cannot help but reflect on slavery.

Edward Gibbon repeatedly relates how the Roman captives of the barbarians were led away into domestic slavery, -the noblest of Romans who were born, bred and educated into the literal bosom of blissful and bountiful indolence, the young men and the old, the young ladies and the old, and their children too. If you had value, you were lucky enough to live again -as a slave.

I think of Bernie Madoff in his country-club prison with still millions at his disposal inside that prison. It hardly seems civilized. It is not civilized. It is a barbaric corruption of our humanity -personified.

I think of people who should be led off into slavery along with Bernie Madoff, -Henry Paulson, George W. Bush, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Tim Geithner, Ben Bernanke, Larry Summers, Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro, Joe Biden, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Larry Silverstein, Benjamin Netayahu, Condoleeza Rice, John Roberts, Jim Lehrer, all the robo-signers we can discover, all the Wall Street hoods, all the mortgage brokers, all the real estate brokers and yes, all the Monsanto genetic engineers too ... -the list is very long indeed, of all those who should be led away into slavery, put to the whip and worked to death as quickly and as mercilessly as the profit that can be derived from their backs might dictate.

None should be permitted to live more than three years. There will be more slaves as the world is cleansed of the idiocy of the Enlightenment.

Do not feed them one bean more than the work that is still left in their raw hands and howling sore backs.

People who are not slaves, and who have not committed these crimes work like that every day of their lives -outside the constraints of being led off into slavery- in our scientific world created by the Enlightenment. People wade neck deep in the poisons our industries manufacture without ever having committed a crime.

Why should Bernie Madoff live in indolence inside the prison the federal government keeps stocked with all the necessities of life?

Humanity is less civilized without slavery.

Our society is letting these criminals walk free among us, and continue their rapine within and from behind the bars of the prisons the Enlightenment has seen as proper.

Money talks very loudly in American prisons. That is the way the system is set up.

Money can make you a king, even when you are confined inside a prison fence.

And you can rest assured, Bernie Madoff and Bernie Ebbers of WorldCom infamy are both rapacious kings in their respective federal penitentiaries.

I'd like to kill the people responsible.

We have more than a million mostly Black and Hispanic men in our American prisons who do not have the money to live like Bernie Madoff or Bernie Ebbers do in prison. Most of those Black and Hispanic men do not belong in prison.

But those who do, should be worked like slaves, and subject to the wrath of some individual in our society who knows how to get the most out of them, before they are sent to their early death.

Life is good. Slavery teaches us just how good life is. Even a slave will beg to live.

If you were a drug dealer when you were free, your life should have little value except as you can be worked hard enough to make the investment in your keep -pay well for the expense of having to keep you under lock and key.

I am not talking break-even on a slave. I am saying -everyone led off into slavery in America should be a center of profit for the slave-holder. No-profit, should equate to no food and quickly to no life. You should get the whip hard -when you fall down- hard enough that you do not fall down again -until you really are dead.

It is no different in the real world of employment for free men today. We are all slaves to some degree. If you do not produce in our society, you go backwards -deeper into the hell that is life in the 21st Century. Do not fool yourself. Our 21st Century world is called, Hell.

Hell is what all the political science of the Enlightenment has wrought. The Rights of Man, and Universal Suffrage are horrible lies, and we all know it.

William Lloyd Garrison and William Wilberforce were wrong about slavery.

Slavery in not immoral. The lack of slavery in our human societies is immoral.

Human beings literally evolved side-by-side with slavery as a societal tool.

Try being more realistic with your humanitarian inclinations.

I know bureaucracies are categorically immoral. That is why slavery has such appeal.

If you think you can do better by these people, by all means, buy them.

If you do not want to become a slave, then run off and go live among the wild animals in the woods.

Society is vicious regardless how it is organized.

Under slavery no one pays to keep anyone under the thumb of some prison bureaucracy that is always going to be proved unerringly corrupt -due to human nature.

These criminals should be sold to the highest bidder stipulating the condition they must be kept under. Cut their ears and noses off. Brand their faces. Cut out their tongues. Place them in chains. And then auction them all off in the slave market to be literally worked to death.

Americans who are not criminals are being worked to death all the time. Children are being worked to death. The existence of slavery in our country has never really gone away.

It has simply been put onto the backs of the wrong people.

Why do i have the feeling this article is about Bernie Madoff ?? Walle this dude really had the jews good. They cant get over the shock of being duped.



I agree humanity is less civil without slavery. These african americans here would have been our servants and shaqaalo had we been in africa. Too sad.




PS: Mr article writer please leave my William Wilberforce alone--he and his best friend William Pitt the younger were two of my favorite characters in the 18th century. (and early 19th century) Although Pitt is my lover, Wilberforce is sort of my brother in law since he was best friend with my man. Wilberforce had an adoonish features in his face, possibly he had an adoon dna in his ancestors. Maybe thats why he was compasionate about slavery? I adore him for his compassionate-ness.
