Somalia breaking into pieces
The Latest western Strategy towards Somalia.
breaking it along local administrations and tribal chiefdoms just like how Africans were in the 1800s.
They have started with Isaaq Admin( Som Land), Majeerteen Admin( Puntland), Sacad Admin( Galmudug) , Saleebaan Admin( Ximan iyo Xeeb) , Cayr-Not yet, Xawaadle Admin( Hiiraan state) , Abgaal Admin( waax iyo Waadi). It would keep coming till Mandera.
Alshabaab is the block towards succeeding in this strategy. for How long? allaah aclam.

Germany was a set of independent dukedoms that joined together. China was a bunch of small kingdoms that came toghter. The United States has Texas which was an independent republic before joining the union, the list goes on and on. By your logic 95% of the world has a right to secede because at one time it was an independent country. Think again. Oromoland isn't going anywhere.The_Emperior5 wrote:We are not a break away we were a country that joined somalia in 1960hanad_mn wrote:The Latest western Strategy towards Somalia.

Re: Somalia breaking into pieces
union this is just the argument that we use with the legal bodies of the world.
and its useless..
They look at somalilands case and say, its a unique case and is fit for recognition and its recognition is pretty much legal according to international law...
The real reason we want to seperate and have seperated is becuase somalia just commited suicide and because we simply can..
This is the real reason.
the problem is we cannot secede from a non-existant country..
we need to re-animate somalia so that we can seperate..

No, because Texas didn't try to secede. It sure as hell did bomb and burn down the cities of the South when they tried to leave the union. Waqooyi Galbeed is, and always will be, apart of the Somali Republic.

Re: Somalia breaking into pieces
that is a fake map because all the lands west of the jubba river were controlled by the british in 1914. which one of you sarkhaans photoshopped that?
Re: Somalia breaking into pieces
If the international legal bodies thought your case was legitimate, every single international delegation who has visited your clan enclave would not have given you the same response. "No international recognition is coming". Every single country in the world has a disgruntled area that wants to break away and form their own independent country. It's simply not going to happen. Besides, "Somaliland:" is even forcing unwilling residents in Sol and Snaag into joining their supposedly "independent" country. Why?gurey25 wrote:union this is just the argument that we use with the legal bodies of the world.

Re: Somalia breaking into pieces
somaliland did not exist before the colonial period, we were all clans.
think of each clan and grouping of clans as independant states..
this is how all somalis lived...
The colonials defeated us and then imposed alien ideas like a state, that controls your daily life.
Its becuase of our wild untameable nature that the colonials didnot get very far in domesticating somalis,
it was like herding cats..
when they left, they left behind their alien state structure that was very weak..
The british had the least influence and time to create anything in somalia.
They had protectorate treaties with the clans in 1884 but did not get involved till the 1900's and it was only till 1940 that they had enough control to start schools and build infrastructure. Thats just 20 years of full controll.
The Italians achieved control over central somalia by 1918 and majerteenia by 1925.
thats just 15-17 years to build a colony not nearly enough, and a further 10 years from 1950 to 1960...
Look at Uganda and Kenya and other british colonies, they had mmore than 80 years with them .
A centralized state in Somalia was doomed, even if we continued to have a democracy, somebody will piss of enough clans sooner or later
and lead to a full scale civil war.
We needed heavy decentralization like switzerland to survive..
Or a patient and intelligent dictatorship that was capable of long term planning and did not resort to clan warfare, and at least 2 generations
to instill some patriotism.

Re: Somalia breaking into pieces
Emperior cannot grasp the concept of colonization all regions in Somalia were in fact called Somaliland by the way in the period of colonization i.e. Italian, British, French Somaliland and it was never an independent nation but became one in the period of colonization and when colonization and European exportation of Africa ended it went back to its territorial integrity in 1960.
History is not on your side, ninyahow give it a rest.
