To be honest I enjoy the classical rivalry between these two clans. So I want to know which clan has more developed cities.

I know Ogaden has, Dhagaxbuur, Godey, Qabridhahar, Garissa and others I dont know

Mareexaan have Garbohaarey, Luuq, Bardhheere, Cabudwaaq and many other great cities.

They're really about equal but Marehan have WAY better land, most of their cities in the south are right on the river. For some strange reason all of the cagdheer towns in galbeed are far away from the major rivers even though the area around the rivers is their land.

Gedo compared to what exactly?......... the sweet fertle lands of Jubbada lower/middle, or the fertile ground flats Qorohay, or the vermilian red rich soil of Dagaxbuur? or the green ravine valleys of the mysterious steepies of Libaan province? should i stop? its too much isnt it!................. i havent even mentioned the great other provinces in other part of the Ogaden and NFD.....

You are an Ogaden supremacist. You speak of Ogadenia as if its the Holy Land. The only holy land in East Africa is Awdal where you can find the most ancient mosque after the Ka'bah

Do you know anything about geography?

Red oil is one of the worst types of soil, its practically dead soil. The only thing you can grow on red soil are apples and unless cagdheers love apples, no one would ever brag about having nasty red soil.

Galgaduud ka waran?

Its the same from Galguduud to central Mudug and central Ogadenia bordering Somalia, also southwestern Gedo and central Togdheer, its all nasty red soil. Those places are also the ugliest in Somaliweyn.

Red soil is almost completely useless in agriculture, traditionally people used red soil for pottery and crafts.

Red soil is heavy in clay, you can build a nice furnace with it but you can't grow anything worth the effort. I'm glad that my clan doesn't live in red soil land, I'll take Bari or Nugaal any day over red soil ugliness and infertility. During sand storms all the houses look like they've been smeared in blood.
