Shabab is after worldwide 'caliphate' meaning the war wont be over even if they capture zoomalia and this fool is talking as if shabab only wants to rule somalia and enter diplomatic relationships with the world.

udun, I would support Al shabab if they reform themselves and remove certain foreigners who cause havoc to the already suffering people of Somalia. Their conduct is appalling but reasonable compared to the warlords, they banned a business I was profiting from called tobacco farming, they also are stoning people with no evidence or witnesses. They are already a defacto government, what have they brought? As observers of this, there is no better alternative to replace Al Shabab so I guess they are here to stay.

There is no doubt they need to abandon certain goals like the Al-QAEDA (aka AL-CIADA) nonsense and transnational agenda. In my view, they should adopt the Hezbullah or Hamaz stands where they make it they are not threat to other countries provided that they are left alone, particularly the Ethiopians and the mercenaries from the Great Lakes region. I agreed they are much more better than the warlords.
