On the net I cannot find any decent pictures of the place. Basicaly what I'm looking for is like residential neighborhoods that look nice. I cannot find any. Yea the skyline looks decent, and they have nice 'vacation' resorts but I cannot find anything upscale, clean of the city. It just seems so dirty.

Nairobi > Addis Abeba....its not even questionable.

When I went to Ethiopia [twice], the city was full of poor homeless habashi folks who piss & shit on the streets. You got millions of poor Ethiopians who live on the streets, so its bound to be dirty.

TBH, there are some nice beautiful residential areas, and there are occupied by rich Somalis & Tigray people. A relative of mine owns a construction company there, and he lives in an incredibly high posh area [for African standards].

C'mon man, the great Habeshinian people built the greatest city in Africa - Addis Ababa!

It has some nasty parts but Nairobi also has the biggest slum in Africa. Addis Ababa shines above Nairobi in most areas, including superior infrastructure and public planning.


(Yes, it snows in Addis Ababa) (also large parts of the city are under construction)

Those pics were floating on other forums, I think SkyScraper something. And no, I am not Ethiopian but I do support my brothers.

The Ethiopians are good people, laakin I feel sorry for them that their Dear Leader is failing them badly.

The Somali Ogadens at least have diaspora folks sending them money, so they are not starving. Laakin millions of Habashis are starving to death there - especially outside the capital.

Im glad Somalia is not 80 million people. Imagine the absolute chaos and meltdown that would cause.
