Clans which expanded over the last 100 years

Post by RuralMan08 »

Gadabursi clan expanded westwards so much it aint even funny. The cisse left a vaccuum and we took their ancestoral lands from Gerisa all the way upto the Djiboutian frontier. Can you believe that over 200 years ago, Awdal was 30% Ciise and now its only approximately 2%?

1800's Purely Ciise territory in Awdal

Gerissa
Habaas
Lawyacaddo
Abdiqadir
Jidhi
Ceel gaal

2010 Purely Ciise territory in Awdal

Habaas (village)

The rest of those towns including Saylac are now either Gadabursi majority or is shared towns

Cisse territory before colonialism

Cisse territory after colonialism and post Djiboutain independence (look how they past the Djiboutian frontier    )

If you guys the Gudabursi shared land with Garxajis or HJ, today you would be on top of the most endangered list in Somalia. I whole heartedly belief a tribe thats as passive as yours would not have lasted...

Your first map looks unaccurate so many mistakes in that map. In my opinion this is the most accurate present map based on the already existing districts and who lives in them.
