Deyr (Autumn) season was not good in Somalia

The Deyr (autumn) rainy season was not good in Somalia and there is a danger that drought may hit many regions in the country. Since majority of the people are nomadic and farming and earn their living thru these means, there is a really danger that a devastating draught may occur. Keep your support to the families back home and pray to Allah that rainy season will come.

While many SNETTERs are living in the west, people should keep in mind that there are many Somalis back home whose livelihoods rely on the rainy season and unless rains season starts before at the end of December, 2010, things don't look good. Due to El-Nino, deforestation, and environment degradation, the rainy season was very much inconsistent in Somalia and there is a fear that these inconsistent rains may contribute to a new civil war in the country due to the many families who may have to abandon the countryside and move to cities and towns, and many destitute young men who would probably setup checkpoints in the roads in order to earn their living thru extortion.

Because of the WAHAABIYAADA AL SHABAB the poor people of Somalia are being punished! We cannot take help from NGO because KHAAWIJRTA AL SHAYDAAN has said they're gaalo we cannot get water from them during these tough times. Nacala al shabab ku yaal WAHAABIYADA xitta dont allow xaflad DUUCA for roob because they think its SHIRK WHAABIYADA are crazy!

Union,

The only people who make money during the draughts are those with water tankers (booyado) but for many nomads and farmers, they may not afford it. Only help from Allah can save them and their livestocks.

Give a man a fish...

teach him to fish.
