I swear I was thinking the same thing when I posted it
You'd think he'd be into R&B or hip hop innit

I wonder where he bought it, or was it passed down? Can you only get those instruments in Somalia?

^My little sister was 13 when she started listening to Somali music...now she can name a lot of Somali artists no kiddin

I guess it has a lot to do with the family....because our family, Somali music is an important part in our lives...even my parents would sing a song together in the house :?

I used to HATE the kaban for a long time then I grew to like it a lot. I always preferred the Arab oud to the kaban but now I prefer the kaban, it takes a long ass time to understand the sounds of the kaban while the Arabic oud is very direct and simple music. The kaban sounds like a random mix of noises until you pattern together the pieces, its very complex music. :geek:

The young man is superb.

Kids shouldn't be making music, instead they should memorise the quran at a young age.
