combating Somali Piracy debate

I was flicking my remote control this morning when I noticed on Parliement Channal in UK in the house of lords the peers are having long discussion about the piracy in Indian ocean where different members were giving different repors the situation in Somalia where they all agree that inorder to deal with it one must start on coast onland and addres ather problems as somalia is a failed state one member described Somalis as ruthless succesful enemy they are also trying to trace where ransom money goes to fearing that some of the money paid ending up in the hands of Alshabab and hence Alqaida.

Al-shabab is totally incharge of the pirate operations, they always have been. All the Senior puntland minsters are in on the take and we know the entire puntland civil projects have been funded through pirate money.

Puntland and Al-shabab are partners in the piracy activity and the Galgala incident where Puntland warlords clashed with sheik atom was a simply a dispute over piracy right between puntland and Al-shabab.

The UN and the CIA are also complicit as the have trained the puntland pirates in the art of piracy.



The pirates were trained in boarding ships.

Every pirate held in Kenya is going to be released very soon. The high court concluded Kenya has no jurisdiction in high seas.

the funny part is that the overwhelming majority of the pirates cannot swim and don't life jackets. it is like get rich or die trying.
