Xildhibaan Nacnac
What kind of a name is that and what is the story behind his name? lol I listened to this guy on BBC Somali last night and he was advocating for salary increase for the regional police. He was saying that $30 a month for the police is not acceptable as it is not enough for a policeman and his family to live on that scanty amount. Nacnac lol is right. Al Shabab and the TFG will look very attractive to the less ideology-driven ones among them since those two entities pay much better (when they are paying) because honestly $30 is just too small.

Joining Al Shabab or The TFG will look very attractive to the less ideology-driven men among the police force since the TFG and Al Shabab pay much better than their current employer because their current salary of $30 a month is just too small. How about now? Does it make sense or do you still not get what I said. My point in this topic is that that Nacnac guy is right and they need to increase the salary for the members of the police force because if you piss them off they can turn their guns on you. The parliament members make $700 (less than the TFG pays its oversized parliament members) according to the guy so some of the funds allocated for the fat bastards who do nothing should go towards the budget for the police force salary.Mr_Alfaas wrote:i didnt get a word of it.Nucky wrote:What kind of a name is that and what is the story behind his name? lol I listened to this guy on BBC Somali last night and he was advocating for salary increase for the regional police. The TFG gets 100's of milions of aid from foreign countries, paying their police who don't do a good job at all, isn't a problem. Al shabaab have a much smaller force to pay and don't pay for anything else, other than the mehers.
Re: Xildhibaan Nacnac
It is true but the TFG does not even pay their useless police force as they should. That is why they desert all the time and join Al Shabab. And it is also true that they receive tons of money in AID from the international community . However an increase in salary for the police force can still be afforded like Nacnac said by paying the parliament members less. They should at least match the TFG and pay $100 a month to the police force. Even with the small budget, would you not agree $30 is just too low?Cali_Gaab wrote:The TFG gets 100's of milions of aid from foreign countries, paying their police who don't do a good job at all, isn't a problem. Re: Xildhibaan Nacnac
$100 a month? With the meagure resources that we get? That would automatically lead to the increase of our soldiers. We can not afford to pay such amounts. We shall see what the outcome will be of the plans of reducing our government officials salaries, including the presidents and vice-presidents. I think if that has been reduced by a considerable amount, the idea of increasing the salary of the police is viable. As it stands, the government money has been run to the ground by the previous admin who has wasted large amounts, loads of it into their own pockets. The current government is laying the foundations of future ruling whereby the resources shall be accounted for and a 'managed' source of income. This so far has been proven to be tangible. The next 6 months or so shall tell the future of this state.
