Land grabbing in Africa by developing nations

Has anyone noticed that there is landgrabbing going on in Africa? Im not talking about mugabe and his Zanu PF followers who kill and chase off whites. Im talking about countries like China, Egypt,Brazil, Saudi Arabia and many more that are buying up big chunks of farmland in Africa. Sudan just sold these past years more then a million hectar of its land to Iran, Egypt and china. Ethiopia gave a big chunk of land that Oromos live in to Sudan, India and Saudi Arabia (Even the president of djibouti and his wife). Uganda, kenya and Tanzania are also selling/leasing big chunk of their lands.
The foreign companies buy up the land and grow food on it, witch they later export back to their homeland. They use locals as labour and pay the off with less then two dollars as salaries. Ethiopian woman in Oromo lands are working for Indian companies witch pay them off 2 dollars as salaries to work in the farm all day. This is apparently a good deal for African goverments. Whats so good about it?
The world will face food shortages in certain areas of the world in the near future. Places like India and China have destroyed their farms because of their polution. They have a population over a billion, they are looking to Africa so the continent can feed them. Of course while the locals are suffering hunger, because hunger is still the deadliest killer in Africa.
Recently Madagaskar told south korean and chinese foreign goveremnt that their land is NOT for sale and that the farm is used for feeding the people. Why arent other countries doing this also?
I recently read a chinese articel form a chinese newspaper that suggested that Somalia and China used to have good ties and that according to some Somali politician in the past ( i forgot their name) they would lease of Somali farms to chinese companies in the future and that Somalia and china would have "great" "ties". I cant seem to find this article to provide it. But i still want to discuss this.
What is your opinion of the matter?
