Garbaharay already has a very good airport. If you look on Google earth you will see that it is has a really long runaway. What will they be doing? Pave the runaway and build an actual terminal or do they have something else in mind?

Garbaharey is the capital city of Gedo but also garbaharey is situated in a strategic area even though it is mountainious. Whereas Baladxawo is near the border, not strategic at all. Garbaharey is a gateway to other cities in Gedo.
