There is one single common denominator among somalis = Short term thinkers.

I mean i would expect them to be the ideal long term thinkers on earth, they have survived the harshest of environments dependent on the natural elements and seasons. Nomads have to plan years ahead to stay alife in the horn of africa.

TFG, shabab, ASWJ i don't see how any of them exist non of them plan long term nor do they consider or aspire to a grand plan of any type all simply plan on surviving each day.

This is part of the double track approach that the west has recently announced. All western security and intelligence arragements towards Somalia are done thru Ethiopia. We, Somalis, in the diaspora should lobby congressmen/women, senators, member of parliaments in the countries that we are living and demand that the west to stop dismantling the Somali Republic and stop coordinating with Ethiopia in all of security arrangements towards Somalia.

The tragedy that Somalis have found themselves today is if you do follow the west's line towards Somalia, you have to bwe Ethiopia's trojan horse. If you don't follow that line, you become terrorist or being designed as a terrorist.

Fyi, Keep in mind both Siilaanyo and Faroole have initially resisted these policies but the line was already drawn.

I think it is time that we, Somalis, should see the bigger picture.

Money talks... before you ask a fragile organisation that exists on Aid money to resist the demands of the Donor advice on alternative funding sources... until then we know it they know it and nothing will change
