Al-shabab: ‘People in kismayu town should arm themselves

heik Hassan Yaqub Ali, the governor of Kismayu town of lower Jubba region for Al-shabab administration in southern Somalia has Wednesday ordered the people of the town to arm themselves and join the fighters to join clashes in the Somali capital.
Kismayu, a town about 500 kilometers to south of the Somali capital Mogadishu is an important port and strategic centre for Al-shabab fighters in Somalia.
“We are informing all the people, all the teachers, all the students and businessmen of Kismayu town to enroll at the military camps of Al-shabab. You should buy the guns from the markets even if you do not have. We need you to join the fighting continuing in Mogadishu,” said Sheik Hassan Yaqub
There had been continuous clashes between the transitional government of Somalia backing by AMISOM and Al-shabab fighters in several districts in Mogadishu that lost the lives of more people in over the past recent days.
