Walaashis you have made quite a comeback with your assertiveness I must commend you. But I shall address it simply.

Percentages and ratios dont count, thats No.1.

In regards to Isaaq and Darood, they have a tribal base that is considered native to Somalia. Whether or not they are of Arab origin makes little difference as they exhibit purely Somali bloodlines even in DNA. The claim to Arab origin is just that, a claim which Somalis made to enhance their "Islamic" identity in the face of colonialism and anti Islamism in the Horn of Africa.

The clan system is the foundation of what it is to be a Somali. Over 100 years ago, the address of somebody, their whereabouts, their marriages, their issues would have been resolved through cthe clan. Am I embarassing myself for saying that the clan system is an integral part of Somali identity? You seem quite perplexed, maybe its because you've had a bad experience with discrimination. My friend, the horizon is wider than looking back only to 1991. If you read Somali history, we were never a unified nation but tribal kingdoms, clan fiefdoms and patriarchal dictatorships. That, my friend, is Somali clan history.
