Somali identity cards

Post by RuralMan08 »

We need to introduce this system to Somalia/Somaliland/Djibouti/Kilinka Shanaad.

God willing I pray for the day to come where every Somali should be required by Law to carry an identity clan card that states his/her clan, lineage and land of origin. This way the Somalis cannot be filtered by unknown peoples. This system will challenge and defeat corruption and mismanagement of the qabiil system. For example, if somebody's identity card mentions that he was born in a certain land that is pre-dominated by his clan then Somalis can collectively root out the injustice made by other clan's territorial ambitions and be required to withdraw claims to that land.

This system will make it easier to identify someone's clan without having to ask them the question which would otherwise lead to an awkward situation. The I.D card must mention the individuals birth name, sex, date of birth and the names of 2 witnesses that can verify the person's claim to this identity. The photo must be at least 2 years old to minimise the risk of fraud that is common to us Somali people. Somali qabiil identity cards will dramatically reduce qabiil related violence, it will help marriage issues, create alliances, partnerships and many more positive outcomes.

God Willing this will solve the qabiil problem once and for all inshallah.

Prove yourself. I shall verify whether or not you are truthful or fraudulent:

1. What is your clan?

2. What is your land of origin?

3. What is your father's name?

I am also an English teacher but I am not an Englishman, my English poetry is flawless, I speak romantically and more proficient than Shakespeare but I am no Englishman.

P.S Somalia is not a land of immigrants, its a land of natives. Immigrants are not welcome

Isaaq is very general! Be more specific, I want a subclan and a land of origin.

Surely Somalis emigrated there themselves too, your logic is flawed.

Walaashis you're more than welcome :rose:
