The Game: Waist Deep In It

Hip hop superstar The Game has been set to star alongside Tyrese and Larenz Tate (the dude from Crash, Biker Boyz and played Quincy Jones in Ray) in forthcoming urban action thriller Waist Deep.
The film is to be directed by the critically acclaimed director Vondie Curtis-Hall (the Director of Mariah Carey’s ill fated flop Glitter), his last film Redemption: The Stan Tookie Williams Story was a cool though and starred Jamie Foxx, so it hopefully it shouldn’t be waste (get it). No stranger to a bit of beef; The Game makes his debut playing a vicious criminal leader by the name of ‘Meat’. Set in Los Angeles, Waist Deep focuses on life in the grimy streets of the west coast - this is something the ex-G-Unit rapper should know all about.
With 50 Cent’s Get Rich or Die Tryin’ on its way it seems the old rapper turned actor situation will not die out just yet. The release date of this highly anticipated motion picture is yet to be announced… so watch this space!
