I've been watching Disney channel lately with my younger siblings....and I have came to a conclusion that I DO NOT like any of these shows....reason I'm saying this is because they are teaching kids and teens alike to be disrespectful towards their parents and other adults too!!!! Slamming doors on their parents when they r angry, belittling their parents, making fun of them, etc etc. The list goes on wallahi....N lately I've seen a lot of Somali kids that r so rude to their parents let alone any other adult relative....I think this is the cause of this walee....what do ya'll think :?

N I know someone is gonna say something about me watching D-C

TV is the devils, I advice future parents to remove TV in their households inshallah, there is better ways to provide entertainment and interaction to your future children.

Joking aside, you made good observation. Turn the TV off from the kids to avoid them taking a cue from the shows.

PS: I just thought you were self-centered like most young girls I see around   But, you can take a joke well

Haye, reerka iigu salaan abaayo, waan sii baxay. Habeen wanaagsan.

These cartoons all promote filth. Last time I seen Disney channel there was this Indian girl signing to a magical tree. Auzubillah

The blame for that is strictly on the Somali parents for letting it happen...if I ever slammed a door on my parents, they'd open that door quicker than it closed and choke me with a VCR wire or some shit.

Yeah I agree, that is why I tell my sister who has kids to get rid of t.v. and to home school. T.v. and Public schools are the biggest shaydaans.

Nice topic btw :)

Ma aragtay, adults are teaching kids to be messed up. Forget my parents, I couldn't talk back to any adult. When I see a kid who screams at their parents, aniga isku naho

Even if you take the television away they will still learn many bad things from other kids at school. I caught my 8 year niece calling her aunt 'dumbass' few weeks ago and I had to sit down with her after smacking her upside the head. She did not learn it from television but I agree that what they show on Cartoon Network and Disney these days are not fit for kids. PBS is much more suited for kids than those other channels. You allow them to watch Hannah Montana Wizards of Waverly Place for say a year and you will do more damage than you reverse in a lifetime.
