The possibility of war in korean peninsula

Anyone following this news that's been going on lately ? The north apparently is threatening the south if they conduct live
fire exercises near disputed Island. This time it looks like , its going to be some serious war in that side of the world
united nation security council is holding a emergency meeting to deal with this situation.

are they really going to fight around this time and why is America involve in this situation ?
is this another way to get china and get their economy collapsed ?

I don't see how anyone really wants war, the americans, the chinese, or South Korea. America is engaged in two wars, but is stationed in Korea as well. You probably know that kim jin il is planning to step down and his son his planning to take his place, but that causes a lot of political turmoil and there could be a coupe, so if war seems imminent and the nation has to prepare for its survival generals will get in line under one leader.

I think there's big reason behind all this fuss , it's either North want deal with America to get food aid and better relations or I personally think
America wants to start a war with north so japan and the south will spend their money away to America like Saudi Arabia did in the Iraq war in the 90s.

as much this will make lots of chaos someone will eventually benefit

Naw cuz both the US and the Chinese are obligated to help the other sides in binding agreements. I sure as hell don't want a war.
