Fighting kills 1, injuries 3 others in Mogadishu

Heavy fighting between Islamist militias of AL-shabab and Somali government forces backed by the African union peacekeeping forces in the capital Mogadishu has occurred mid today on Thursday killing one and injuring 3 others, eyewitness said.

The clash happened at the southern parts of the capital Mogadishu such Hodan and H/wadag districts killing one civilian and wounding 3 others as witnesses confirmed to the media today.



The injuries wounded in one spot in after mortar shell landed in Wabari district and included a woman, eyewitness said.



Mogadishu emergency ambulances services didn’t also tell the number of injuries they have taken to the hospitals and it’s not known the reason why they are not telling numbers of the injuries nowadays because they used to report to the local and international media.



The fight came as Al-shabab forces attacked government troops and the African union peacekeeping forces military bases at Dabka junction and Shakala road in Mogadishu



No one knows the exact casualties that reached both the warring groups also if there are other civilian losses until now.
