Benadir administration show expired food to the media

-Benadir Administration of Somalis Transitional Federal Government have displayed an expiry food that was held in hand by the government forces, officials said.



Mayor and governor of Benadir region together with H/weyne district commissioner held press conference in the capital Mogadishu showing expired food to the press late today on Saturday in H/weyene district.



Mogadishu mayor Mahamud Ahmed Nuur Tarsan and H/weyne district commissioner A/lahi Ibrahim Gardhub told they collected the food from stores in that district with businessmen involved saying that they have been jailed.



“We are very sorry to this evil acts bringing expired food in to the country and we will pursue and bring justice who is found like this crime” Mr. Sahal said.



The expired food was hundred of sacks maize that was useless which cannot be used as food both people and animals.



This is the first move that Benadir officials show the media an expired food they have caught.



Wet food or expired foods are always brought as though there is no strong government in the country checking the quality of the product imported by traders.

Yep, they burn all food that is not bought from Shababistani Suuqs. It is sickening to see how they burn WFP food that have been repackaged while starving people watch. Sick bastards !
