First we read about Saracen, now comes the word Somalia's international airport has been privatized and sold to a foreign bidder. Mark my words, Somalia even if they were to defeat Shabaab and become a functioning state again will never be an
independent, sovereign state.

This is good news, the contract is valid for 10 years. and it has not been sold. Somalia is in chaos right now, so again this is good news.

Why should u demonize capitalism??? I mean, isnt free market in somalia right now responsible for the sucesses in somaliland and puntland? Why are you so against foreigners in somalia? You are so xenophobic upto the point where it is blinding your from reasonable thinking.

It has already been sold off. Foreign firms get exclusive 'licenses' to plunder our oceans, dump waste, train mercenary forces etc. Our airspace is run by a UN agency which collects fees but no one knows where they end up.
We are a sorry excuse for a nation.

Of course they would. Wasn't Shariff one of the "boys" not too long ago? The uninitiated men who currently have a choke hold on Somali politics are easily motivated by instant gratification and don't have much future time orientation.

We have no idea how many contracts have been signed and on the surface SKA has acquired Toxic stock with a higher degree of loss. If peace is sustained over the period of the contract with an opportunity for an extention of that contract(smaller print i would expect) then i guess they will collect.
This is why the TFG needs to represent all somalis
