The star is a calligraphic representation of bismi-llāh (in the name of Allah) in the shape of the five pointed star. Thus, it retains the look and feel of the national flag while being composed of 100% islamic imagery.

Since wikileaks revealed Jubbaland to be a pawn in Ethiopia and Kenya's regional politics, maybe you should have a pic of meles Zenawi and Kibaki, rather than insulting our intelligence and giving them some kind of Islamic credential, ya james?
