I don't understand these people. Protecting the rights of women from misuse and abuse and championing the rights of religious minorities is something to be killed for? We really are in Muslim people's dark ages. Today Jews and Christians are not allowed to worship freely in Saudi Arabia even though given that right in the Qur'an and we know both Christians and especially Jews lived in Medina with the prophet and were given freedom to do as they wished.

And how could Islam have the distinction of being a religion that oppresses women using Saudi and Taliban as examples when women were allowed to own property, businesses, have right of inheritance, right of divorce, etc a thousand years before the so-called "enlightened West".

It seems today's Muslims neither have religious knowledge nor practical knowledge. They are stuck in a black hole of ignorance that is neither here nor there.

Why do people cry when so called 'progressive' politicians are killed. This man and the whole Pakistani government are under the payroll if the United States and are nothing but opportunists that profit for the so called war on terror. Why is it that the government allows innocent civilians to be droned constantly by the kaafirs? Why has the government backstabbed the Taliban when the Swat Valley agreement was made? I feel no sympathy for this man.

The intellectuals of the Muslim world, the ones who lead it during its former glory, are being either killed or labeled as "kaffirs" and discredited. The religious leaders of the Muslim world are now either crackpot clerics who have a narrow minded and intolerant viewpoint, and violent hormone filled morons who go after everyone they disagree with an inquisitional rage.
