
Somalia’s ministry of finance on Tuesday proclaimed that there are no corruptions in the government institutions.
Hussein Abdi Halane, finance minister of the transitional federal government of Somalia told reporters in Mogadishu the he always hears from local press news suggesting some of Somali officials use the national assets in a corrupt manner, adding that all media charges are baseless and false.
He said the government has general treasurer who has the responsibility of keeping and securing national properties, noting that government has no an accusation.
“All new governmental institutions are free from corruption and money laundering” the minister of finance was quoted as saying.
