I am not surprised. Back in the day when Al Itihad controlled Gedo, some people who share some tribe as Western Galgaduud tried to take the akhwaan movement to Caabudwaaq/Balanbale. I know a guy who was stabbed in the middle of the street by crazed Sufis and a lady whose jilbaab was ripped from her in broad daylight by a brood of women.
