Fresh fighting takes place in Mogadishu

Fresh fighting between forces of Somali Transitional Federal Government backed by the African Union peacekeeping forces and militias of militias erupted in the capital Mogadishu, reports said.
The war occurred in the Hodan district south Mogadishu and both warring groups exchanged fires and heavy shells early this morning injuring 5 civilians.
The wounded people were taken to the medical centers in Mogadishu as residents reported.
There are no further details about the exact casualties of the war today since this was the heaviest confrontation to this New Year 2011 between interim government troops backing the African union peacekeeping forces and the rebel group of Shabab forces in Mogadishu.
