You are right. Well as the article stated they are going to strengthen their economical ties. Saudi arabia did put a ban on Somalilands livestock in the past and that did effect the people very badly. I dont see any political about this, and it is a positive move.

Saaxib the reality on the ground is that Somaliland wont get any recognition, its impossible. The issue can only be voted by the African union. Egypt the second strongest economy country in Africa and Sudan said that they will walk out of the African union if anyone even mentions Somaliland. USA is also working towards one Somalia as they have previously stated. The arab league has even denied the splitt of Somalia.

It means every legal entity outside Somalia is behind the goverment of Somalia in Xamar, thats why the US is spending so much money on them.

So many flaws in your post man. First of all, Sudan is going to be splitt. Now who supports the splitt?

RUSSIA,CHINA,USA, LATIN AMERICA, MIDDLE EAST AND African union.

Second mistake you made: Yes US made a dual approach to Somaliland, BUT they also stated that they dont have any intention to recognise Somaliland and that this dual approach does not mean recognition.

Third mistake is that Ethiopia will never recognise Somaliland, that would be a death sentence. Why? Because then Ogaden would then have to also secede and Ethiopia would be reduced by 50%. They wont cause this, because they dont want to have a seccesion themselves. The status quo in Somaliland is perfect for them.

And last but not least, every goverment in the WORLD is behind TFG and to end the terrorism that plagues SOMALIA.

When al shabab is gone, all Somalia have to do is just support SSC military and financially. Then like a peace of cake Somalilands dream ends.
