It is a land of truth. Go until such time as ALLAH shall relieve you from your distress." (Musnad of Imam Ahmad)

The Messenger of Allah (saw) chose Abyssinia which at that time encompassed most of present day East Africa including Somalia, Djibouti, Eritrea, Yemen.
