Aristotle distinguished four different types of cause:
•material cause: what a thing is made of
•formal cause: what it is
•final cause: what its function or purpose is
•efficient cause: what brought it about
Cause = Effect

This has to be the most harmonious equation in the universe... You get back out of the universe exactly that which you put into it. If Karma was ever explained by an equation this is it.
