Wagardhac were fighting and i think there was a war between them and reer khalaf around that period

'gob haday is dirirto geeridu tiro maleh
Reer khalaf tusnay inaanu geed qaraar ka goobanahay'

Made by a wagardhac poet

Abdalla, just don't comment. I have seen enough of your attempts to try to talk about history on Somalia to know you are one of the least informed people on this site. Just yesterday you were talking about some unknown SSDF and how he defanged or something General Maxamed Cali Samatar. The only thing I could do was laugh as with most of your writing.

Gardheere is unknown? :? Gen Samatar was defeated by him, a mere colonel. And unlike some of your generals he didn't withdraw in Afgoye AUN. Ka nax oo naftaa waa. Don't change the topic

I may not know who was exactly fighting in 1964, but there was a bitter fight between Wagardhac and Haber gedir and Wagardhac was beefing with reer khalaf at the same time, lakiin khalaf madoobe didn't persue the war with wagardhac, you can say waa lo naxay because WG were pre occupied with HG. That's why the poet said 'gob haday is dirirto'

Sleep well

Anyways this war was about Galgaduud's representation. The governor was Xaaji Xaashi Jaamac Gerri (the father of Siad's junior wife Dalaayad, may they all rest in peace) and the MP was Adan Loow. Habar Gidir felt disenfrenchised.

Gardheere is the name, garweyne is a qabiil that settle in shabbelaha iyo jubboyinka ( i think). The biggest battle during the civil war was no doubt the one in Afgoye, waa marki darood iyo hutu loo kala baxay, dagaalkaa buu ku dhintay in 1991. The commanders were Ina Xaaji Massale, Cumar jees and him. Cumar wuxu sameeyay waa la ogyahay, Ina Xaaji withdrew and Gardheere's men were crushed. I am not sure if he fought in Kismayo cus he died early in 1991, i have to research that. Why do you ask

Ibrahim, I am sure it was Xaaji Xaashi as governor but also I think it was that fight because my dad was a toddler during that war and that is around the time this fighting was taking place.
