10,000 Somali March: would you participate

We get 10,000 Somalis to sign up for march inside somalia, most people will come from the West and all they have to do is simply purchase a ticket, meet in one town in northern somalia and start this great march that ends in Kismaayo. It will be a nonviolent movement, no political message, not comprised of one group or clan, and it will simply be a peaceful march through somalia. we will meet with maamuls, odayaal, waxgarad, aqoonyahano, and others throughout each location and make a docomantary about our long passage. it would last about a month. the message we have will be simple: give us peace, and take everything else. the group will be leaderless so as not to pin individual efforts into a qabiil program. we will project to the world that we are the millions misunderstood, and that somalis like any other group are peaceful and have the inertia to inititate change and think about their future. this will simply be a 'walk for peace', we will take over the media for a month, and send daily ques, pictures, meetings, and other interesting things to the outside world. this can be organized sometime in the future, around the summer, to accomodate students. by the time we land in somalia, the word has spread so much, it might turn into million men march at the gates of Xamar, never underestimate the power of the people. so my question is, if you saw this request how would you react, would you purchase that ticket and meet in somalia for this great journey.

wallahi i am serious, Cirwaaq this is not business idea sxb. we have to do something different, anything for that matter. if i had more patience i would recruit 10,000 people that would never return, or fasted til they got a government in somalia, but i know that is not possible. i wanted something that infused travelling with change.

some people can ride if they wish, but we want to walk all the way to Kismaayo, since we are driven with passion and love for our country, seeing the scenery would only add to our steadfastness, and will be the fuel that gets us through the harsh weather and realities on the ground. we might have to adjust our timeframe if walking will impair our ability to the complete the journey on time. imagine thousands of somalis from all walks of life, from all trips, making that simple walk and what a difference that will make. we are not all hungry, we dont all need power, we are not this pathetic group of people that hate each other and kill our own, there are millions that just want PEACE
