1. Puntland claims that appart from Somaliland, Puntland itself does not seek sececcion and that they want a federal state under Somalia.
My question: Then why did Puntland design their own flag and not adopt the Somali recognised blue flag?

2. Puntland claims that it represents all Somalis and that they want to host reconciliations and that they support Somali civilians wherever they are.

My question: Then why did you (and still do) send back Somalis from south Somalia escaping the violence and death?

3. Faroole and puntland overall didnt object when Abdullahi yusuf (the man who invited the xabashis to kill Somalis) was the top leadership. By then they were gladly promoting their nationalistic side and they supported the weak goverment in Somalia, no matter how weak it was.
My question: Why do you suddenly oppose TFG, who infact is getting better leadership then all the previous leaderships (including sh. sharif)? Arent you part of Somalia?

My conclusion is that Puntland has been supporting TFG because of CLan all along. I remember when they got mad, when Farmaajo and not their candidate got to be prime minister. I think Puntland was expecting someone from their clan to lead Somalia after sheikh sharif, but now when that might not happen, they are going crazy.

Basicly Puntland has always wanted to do what Somaliland is doing today. Seceding and having their own leadership free from the TFG, or "konfuur" people. They cannot secede so they are trying to become the central leadership of All of Somalia. Replacing the TFG.

So basicly Puntland goverment is a bunch of Opportunistic bitches

3 Cabdilahi yusuf is considered the founding father of Puntland he used xabashis to kill hawiyes it was revenge for 1991 ,they don't appose the TFG but the leadership i believe not the system of governance they are very pro federalism Puntlanders want to become the next leaders of the TFG.

Puntland designed a flag as a state not as an independent country, at the end its significance is used to symbolise federalism. If you want to examples of federal states look up Texas in the U.S.

Firstly i dont agree with the radical and far fetched action which targeted many inocents of people, but I believe the justification was that it was part of antiterrorism measures at a time when insecurity was strife in cities such as Bosaaso. Only the young and male were targeted.
Nevertheless tens of thousands of Southerners continue to live in Puntland without assault or intimidation by the security.
