http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/ja ... concessionThe biggest leak of confidential documents in the history of the Middle East conflict has revealed that Palestinian negotiators secretly agreed to accept Israel's annexation of all but one of the settlements built illegally in occupied East Jerusalem. This unprecedented proposal was one of a string of concessions that will cause shockwaves among Palestinians and in the wider Arab world.

Re: Palestine Papers - Your thoughts?
I've just got done reading them. It's an admittance of a sad reality, that was all too easily seen by the common people. Israel doesn't want a "two-state" solution, Israel doesn't want "Israeli-Palestinians". Israel wants a zionist jewish state. The PA are blind, and too foolish, led probably by selfish motives. The sad truth is War is the only solution, there is no such thing as a "peaceful solution". NO country, or people would have waited so long, and suffered so much, like the Palestinians. And they either need to win or lose. And the sad thing is the world has only helped to prolong their suffering, doing just enough to survive and giving enough hope for them to continue to believe there is an end.

I haven't read the papers but the Jonathan Freedland opinion piece. Its like the other leaks tbh, telling us what we already knew, that the Palestinians have nothing to offer the Israelis cant take by force. Its just so humiliating for the Palestinian leaders, offering so much, referring to J/Salem in Hebrew, offering first dibs on the third holiest site in Islam. Horta Saeb Erekat is a Christian right? aabihiis wasaha
People are saying this should be the end of the phony peace process, whats next, back to armed resistance? Its the end of the world.

It only reveals that Fatah(saudi sponsored group) are enemies because the munafiqeen have always been worse than jews.
Also it shows us that Hamas(who are trained by Iran and Hisbu'Allah)will never submit to the enemies; zionist and fatah.

Re: Palestine Papers - Your thoughts?
The Hamas movement in Gaza stated that Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, does not represent the Palestinian people, and is no longer authorized to negotiate with Israel on behalf of the Palestinians.
Hamas political leader, Khalil Al Hayya, stated that Hamas is withdrawing its authorization granted to Abbas under the National Unity Agreement of 2006, which was never implemented.
Al Hayya said that the claim made by Mahmoud Abbas and his Authority in the West Bank that they negotiate on behalf of the Palestinian people is “nothing but lies and nonsense”.
During a massive protest organized by Hamas in Gaza, Al Hayya slammed what he called “concessions” presented by the Palestinian Authority of Mahmoud Abbas to Israel, and called for supporting the resistance and maintaining the legitimate Palestinian demands.
He said that the people must remove “all leaders who are abandoning the Palestinian legitimate rights”, and added; “back off, you are not trusted any more”.
Meanwhile, spokesperson of the Hamas movement, Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank to hold massive protests against what he called “the Fateh-led government that acts against the resistance and the legitimate Palestinian rights”.
Abu Zuhri added that the recent leaked cables published by the Qatar-based Al Jazeera, revealed dangerous coordination between the Palestinian security forces in the West Bank and the Israeli occupation.
He added that these cables provide proofs of the Authority’s involvement in the Israeli assassinations of several resistance fighters in the West Bank, and its calls for tightening the siege on Gaza.
“The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank is in coalition with the occupation”, Abu Zuhri said, “We call on our people to hold massive protests against those who sold out to the occupation”

Re: Palestine Papers - Your thoughts?
The leak itself is a conspiracy. Everyone knows that the only people with the guts to oposse the fascist state of israel is Hamas. To most people this leak hasnt revealed anything that the people didnt expect.

Re: Palestine Papers - Your thoughts?
Hamas are the legitimate representatives of the Palestinians. Israel controls Abbas, he is there so that Israel can claim to be talking peace.
Abbas has no support among the Palestinians, otherwise the the Fatah party would have received more than 22% of the last vote - compared to Hamas' 64%.

Re: Palestine Papers - Your thoughts?
This is probably a leak endorsed by the Israelis. Their chief aim is, and has always been to create a hopeless situation for the Palestinian people so that they choose to leave their legitimate claims and move somewhere else. Once, they give these rights up they can no longer claim them, and this is exactly why the Palestinian people are so stubborn to live in the biggest prison in the world. Also, other arab countries refuse to give them entrance into their countries.
